Again, nothing is different from the original source, but just that I have created different plans based on his advise since there are multiple permutations in a given deal.

The plans are discussed below (based on NJ) but if you want to work with your state sales tax, regional MF, dealer document fee etc., you should use the excel posted here (download and enter numbers based on your State specific!).

Note1: When paying a security deposit (refundable), it reduces the MF factor which in turn brings the monthly payment down.

The sale/haggle price of 21235 is based of leasehckr advise which is based of "dealers on a popular car buying site offering that amount"

Note2: Most dealer assume that 24-month will increase your monthly payment, what they do not realize is that 24-month also means less depreciation (71% as opposed to 63%) and hence the savings to the lease holder. Might want to shine this light while working your numbers.

Renowned Ghazal Singer Jagjit Singh passes away. R.I.P!

The voice that we all have relished so much over the years will no more be singing again, won't be heard ever. I just learnt that renowned singer Jagjit Singh passed away, he was suffering brain haemorrphage. Well, I feel sad today :(!

Today I am reminded of one of his ghazals close to my heart (actually there are many but let me share this today).
